The rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed English language learning in higher education. Tools such as Large Language Models, grammar checkers, and interactive chatbots now provide students with personalized, real-time feedback. However, integrating AI also raises ethical and pedagogical concerns regarding academic integrity, overreliance, and reduced human interaction. This study evaluates the impact and effectiveness of AI tools among university students by addressing three main questions: (1) Which AI tools are most commonly used? (2) How do students perceive their impact on language skills? (3) What ethical and pedagogical challenges emerge from their use?
